Another Press Junket and thanks for a great year!

I just want to thank all my clients and friends for a great 2008!

December was busy for me with a two days on the press junket for Valkyrie.
Nothing crazy like the Iron Man press junket happened.
But I did have a weird experience with Tom Cruise as he left for the day. The crew was all hanging around after a long day of shooting and Tom Cruise came from his room and walked to the elevator. But on the way, I guess he felt like he needed to recognize the crew. He acted really strange. Instead of just saying a general, “Thanks!” to the whole hallway of crew, he awkwardly picked certain crew members out of the crowd to shake hands with and introduce himself. It seemed like he was trying too hard to be a normal guy. Anyway, all the actors seemed to really like him.

Later in December I got to do a PSA with Matthew Modine, who was much more normal than Tom Cruise. (But that isn’t saying much.)

(Horrible cell phone picture of Matthew Modine.)

I’ll keep you updated on my Hollywood lifestyle. 🙂

I hope to see you all in 2009!

Kathy & Dan’s Wedding

The day was beautiful (but a little bit cold) and we got some great outdoor pictures. But the fun really happened at the reception at the Lehigh Country Club. Kathy and Dan have a lot of friends that love music and love to dance.

Here are some teaser images from Kathy Young and Dan Fitzgerald’s wedding:

Brandy & Joe’s Wedding

A beautiful day and a beautiful couple. It was really easy for Jen and I to photograph Brandy Kerekes & Joseph LiCausi. Here are some teaser shots:

Awesome Recommendation from one of my brides on LinkedIn

This is a really beautiful recommendation from a beautiful bride.
She posted it on my LinkedIn page.
Thanks, Kim!

“I hired Chris as my wedding photographer for July 2008, and I would highly recommend him. Months before the wedding he came to our house to show us his work and to get to know each other, he was so down to earth I could not imagine anyone not getting along with Chris or not feeling at complete ease. His work is quite impressive and very professional, he understood what we envisioned and has very reasonably priced packages to choose from. The photos that he captured on our special day blew my expectations out of the water, there was not one bad photo! I plan to use him in the future for all my photo-moment needs!” Kimberly (Stoeckel) Ehrig

“We hired Chris as our photographer for our July 2008 wedding. After searching and searching through many photographers, we were pleased when we finally met Chris. He was so nice and we felt extremely comfortable around him. Chris did an amazing job with our engagement session, and I could hardly wait to see what he captured on our wedding day. On our special day, Chris and his wife Jen, completely exceeded our expectations. They were so much fun and added to the excitement of our day. Chris tailored a package just for us, and the results were outstanding! Our album and wedding DVD were gorgeous. We have gotten so many complements on the beauty and uniqueness of our photos. We couldn’t be more pleased with the way Chris captured every important and tender moment of the most important day of our lives.” Michelle and P.J. Yoder

Sweet!
That smile makes me melt. How’d you get her to do that. Way to go. Bump that recommendation up to the top.
P.S. I’ve always got a kick of your LCD Avatar!

what a great idea, putting someone’s comments to you/praises -on your blog..i’ll have to keep that in mind.
A friend of mine is moving to Lehigh Valley this weekend to start a church – maybe you’ll be the photographer at one of the weddings he presides over. – And you have a daughter named Zoe or is it a pet? I have a daughter named Zoe.

I love that smile on her face, also. I just kind of approached her with my natural goofy smile and she smiled back.
As I took the image, I knew it was going to be a great shot. I asked her later, “Aren’t you tired of me taking pictures of you, yet?”
And she said no and that she was having a great time. I love when I can connect with my brides. It really makes the day and the images beautiful.
